Social worker Dilsobha Shrestha , who faces charges of child molestation , remarked that she could not be proven guilty of something she had not committed. She added that she was caught up in trouble due to lack of her sound knowledge of law.

Shrestha clarified that she registered 'Aama Ghar' for the protection of helpless elderly people but failed to take permission for running orphanage, not knowing legal procedures.

The Ravi Bhawan-based elderly home-cum-orphanage run by her with the name of 'Aama Ghar' had been providing shelter to 53 children.

District Administration Office (DAO) and Central Child Welfare Committee had rescued 31 children from Dilsobha's Aama Ghar earlier on the day after the Nagarik daily published a news report that social worker Shrestha was involved in sending the children to work outside as domestic help and to spend the night.

Shrestha further calimed that she used to send a person to the house of one well-to-do elderly of Kalimati Ganeshthan for 'serving' her rather than keeping her at the 'Aama Ghar'.

Complaints were registered at the DAO against Shrestha along with the audio tape conversation in which she sounds to have been making a suspicious deal.

"She works at my place in the afternoon. And I just asked the elderly to keep the helper at night," Shrestha clarified.

Shrestha challenged to prove the charges of sexual molestation that have been leveled against her. "I won't suffer from the poison which I haven’t taken," she said," I should also know against whom I have abused."
